Cancellation & Discount Policy
Please ensure that any cancellation by a traveller is be made by email to email@example.com. We will acknowledge your cancellation by email in as short a time as possible. Normally less than a few hours.
In certain cases you may be eligible to receive a full or partial refund depending upon:
- the reason for your cancellation or
- the number days of prior to the start of the tour your cancellation request is received or
- the amount expended by us to prepare for your tour

Cancellation Policy Terms
If you cancel 60 days or more before the start of the tour: We will apply a 10% fee to cover administration costs. We will refund the amount paid less any non-recoverable upfront costs incurred by the Tour Guide on your behalf. These upfront costs represent out of pocket expenses of the Tour Guide for tickets, transportation deposits and other non-recoverable tour expenses. With 60 days’ notice, these will likely only be the Administration and banking services and currency exchange costs normally 10% of the transaction.
If you cancel 59 to 15 days before the start of the tour: 20% cancellation fee. If you have paid for your tour in full, we will issue a refund of 80% minus any non-recoverable upfront costs. If you paid only a deposit we will refund only the amount paid in excess of 20% of the tour price.
If you cancel 14 to 3 days before the start of the tour: 50% cancellation fee. As we will have already booked transport, guides and made reservations at the attractions. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice or do not show up for the booked tour we charge 100% cancelation fee.
In some cases, the Manta Tour Guides may cancel a tour due to weather or other circumstance. In the event that the Manta Tour Guides cancels the tour, you may choose between a rescheduling of the tour, a full refund of all monies paid OR a credit towards an alternative tour. If you choose to accept a credit, the difference in the cost of the alternative tour will be refunded or paid by you as applicable.
We cannot be responsible for any incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of the purchase of your tour such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights, cruise tickets or loss of enjoyment, etc. We cannot not be responsible for Events beyond our control such as if the Cruise line does not dock in Manta for whatever reason.
Discounts and Promo codes are not cumulative. Only 1 discount can be applied to each tour date. Promo codes are only valid during the initial booking and cannot be applied at a later date. Promo codes are only valid for orders over $150 in value.
Group discounts can be applied after booking if new bookings are made indicating the group leader in the comments or notes section of the booking form. These discounts will be made as partial refunds direct to the cards used for each booking within the group on the day of the tour. Please bear in mind that if a promo code was used then the group discount will not be added to the promo discount. Only the difference in percentage discount will be applied. For example a group discount of 15% on a booking that used a 10% promo code will receive the 5% difference on the day of the tour.
